My name is Charlie Evershed and I live in Southbourne. I have worked in the building trade for over 30 years on local and national projects. I have run my own carpentry business for the last 25 years.

When getting quotes Charlie noticed an issue with the design which I flagged to Wren and had rectified before delivery. Replacing porch roof and installing a skylight
Charlie replaced my leaking porch roof and installed spot lights and skylights, he did an excellent job – the skylight brings natural light into the hall making the house much brighter. Charlie did an excellent job and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the job, I’m totally happy with his work.

Charlie designed and built a porch roof for us. From start to finish arrived on time and kept everything spotless. Truly great work and wouldn’t hesitate in using him again for any other carpentry work.

Heavy door hanging & customisation
Charlie recently rehung our 1920s heavy pine doors after they were stripped, a challenging job as nothing is straight in our house! He customised another door to accommodate a smaller bathroom entrance which is brilliant! As ever, he works like a magician, is quick and precise! Thank you Charlie!
